Tom is the owner of B.I.Cycle, and has been working in the bike industry for almost 30 years. He is our certified fitting specialist, and has extensive experience with injury recovery and other special needs in bike fit. Currently engaged in riding a week's worth per summer of the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route from Banff, Canada to the Mexican Border in NM, his experiences are freely shared and he hopes to get more road cyclists and their families interested in getting away from paved roads and motorized vehicles. He rides: a 17 year old custom Seven Cycles Odonata road bike that has hit 62mph descending McNeill Canyon over near Lake Chelan, a Salsa Spearfish Mountain bike, a custom Co-Motion Al Cap tandem with his wife Betty, and a commuter special with a 12 year old 14 speed Rohloff internally geared hub and dynamo front hub. Newest is a Bike Friday Tikit that makes getting to West Seattle to babysit for his granddaughter a bit quicker. He always wears a helmet and uses flashing front & rear lights all the time!
Gabriel has worked at B.I.Cycle for 16 years as a mechanic, salesman, inventory manager, and pretty much everything else. He is also experienced in bicycle fitting and teaches our mechanics classes. As you can see from the photo, he rides all sorts of different bikes. Ask him about custom bikes, bike history, picky details, etc., etc.
